BPMs Blank Title 74778

They will be in the DB\Object directory rather than the BO directory within BPMExec. I've not got access at the moment so I'm presuming they'll be editable .p files as well.

They live in the \BPMEXEC\ directory. In there will be the bpm's in their respective BO directories. There will be a .p file in each. You'll be able to find your BPM's within the .p files. You just need to copy the code out and back into the designer.

We are on Epicor 9.05606, with a progress database.

We have a couple of BPMs that are lost in Epicor land but still run. I created the BPMs in the training database, then exported them out, imported them into the live database. During the import Epicor crashed. The BPMs run however they are no where to be found in the data directives or methods directives.

This was fine, until I had to made a change to one of them. Where in the server files do the BPMs live?

or any suggestions on how I can get them to show up inside of Epicor?

I have a question about BPM's. I currently have 50-60 active BPMs
scripted and running. Do BPM's have a noticeable impact performance
wise to Vantage? If it does, is it possible to run BPM's on their own
AppServer?

Anyone still there on the west coast??

How would I check to see if there are any existing BPMs on Customer Shipment Entry? Specifically, the Ship Dtl / Pack Lines?

I know zero about BPMs.

TIA.

Vic
Vic,

Pull up System Management > Business Process Management -> Setup -> Method Directives.

Do a search on Method Code, on the search dialog, check the "Search By Directives" radio button (2nd radio button on the screen), leave the "Directive Group" to <Any>, then click Search. This will show you all BPM's currently in the system. At this point, click the "Business Object" column, and look for any that have the CustShip object. Select those.

Once you have them open on the screen, expand your tree on the left, and look at each directive, both pre and post. If the "Enabled" box is checked, it's active. You'll have to look at the actions to see what it does.

Another way to check is to look under the BPM (or BPM) folder and you'll see
the Business Objects and events.
