With classic dashboards I used the “Grid Caption:” area to add Help on how the dashboard worked, how it was filtered, etc…
Where would be a good place to display a simple 1 line dashboard detail note on how it’s filtered and what is displayed.
Remember 1st I’m a greenhorn with application studio and 2nd there are no bad suggesting or ideas in brainstorming.
Panel header? You can add objects, a text box in your case, and input the desired caption in the display.
Here’s an example from AR INVOICE TRACKER which adds a line filter to the panel grid header.
This helps, I’m trying to minimize the space I use to allow as much room for the record rows as possible. Converting the dashboard may be part of my problem, I’m learning how to create them from scratch will help.
