Burden Hours showing up in Labor Detail records

Hello Everyone! This should be easy… But I cannot find “how” burden hours are getting
on the labor detail records. I cannot see it being typed in anywhere… Is this a “percentage” or some other method that calculates burden hours as part of the LABOR hours on an MES "start and “stop” operation?

I cannot find any docs on it either… just a little frustrated.

You assign the rates from the Resource Group.

Thanks Bruce…. Yes…. Those are rates…. But why are the “hours” showing up? Or is it in the resource group also?

It depends on a few things. the configuration of the given operation, is it standard, quantity only (same for purposes of reported burden hours), or time and quantity? In the case of the latter, if your are using MES, it’s the calculated difference between start and end activity time. In the case of Time and expense entry, whatever you enter in to that effect. In either event there are a couple parameters in Resource Group maintenance that can influence how burden hours are applied (read the help manual). If you don’t care about the how only the what, its Erp.LaborDtl.Burden hours.
