Business Activity Manager

Thanks
I actually customized the form to hold a conversion date so that I can
run a report that tells me the customers that were created within a
given time frame. I know that the table holds a creation date but I need
to know when the record was converted from Prospect to Customer

I submitted that issue with alerts almost a year ago to Epicor. I
told them at the time that alerts were absolutely useless the way
they were. I suppose they still are. They gave no inidication as to
when or if this issue would be fixed.

I agree with Stephen, use BPM instead and forget about alerts.

[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
I am trying to set up an alert that will show when a customer's status
has changed. I want it to include the customer name and the status
change whenever the record has been added or the status has been
updated. The problem that I am running into is that when entering a new
record that goes directly to a status of customer the only alert that I
get is that a new record has been added with no referance to what the
record is. When I save the record and then change the status I get an
alert telling me that the status has been updated but I still don't
know which record has been updated. The only way I can get the name
included in the alert is to change the name of an existing customer
record. WHat I want is the name of the customer and the showing of a
status change for both new records and the updating of existing
records. Does anyone out there know how to do this? Without any key
information (name, custid) the process seems useless.

Thanks
Kersten
Use a BPM instead

Method directive Customer.update

Then send an alert from this.
