Trying to modify pack slip report to include C of C. Any help would be appreciated.
do you have ECM?
is the certificate the same for all products?
no ecm and they are not the same for all products.
I don’t have any experience other than seeing ECM and advanced print routing used together to solve this need, sorry Gregory.
Did you create a checkbox for C of C or is it applied to his product?
@ggrant We added a clause at the bottom that includes the assemblies with date codes, our (their) years of retention and a quality sign off. Our is always the same, but you could make the clause conditional. Most of our suppliers do the same.
Is there anywhere that would explain how to do so? We are a week into production with Epicor.
After speaking with the upper management, they want to C of C on everything going out.
There are two issues here, a “where is the C of C data stored” issue and a “how does it print on the Pack Slip” issue, both of which can be solved by modifying the Pack Slip report style (I’m NOT an SSRS guru, but there are many here). First you need to define what data the C of C needs to show. Any boilerplate verbiage can just be added onto the Pack Slip, and then a BAQ written to extract whatever data (or part-specific verbiage) needs to be included.
If there are separate documents you need to include, then it gets somewhat hairier to automate without ECM.
Thanks for jumping in Ernie.
Gregory, it is larger task and planning process than a one sentence answer- as seen by Ernie’s suggestion(s) above.
