Hello All,

I was looking through the Vantage messages today seeing many familiar names. I wish I could have seen some of your faces too. I haven't been monitoring this list for the past year because I have been part of a team working to develop our own ERP system to replace Vantage. We did our data conversion and transition to the new system at March month-end and it looks like smooth sailing, so I'm saying bon voyage to not only Epicor, but also to this group of users. (I did speak to our Epicor Rep by phone before this.)

I'm going on past precedence that we feel connected enough as a group that a good-bye is an appropriate use of email bandwidth after 4 years of sending / receiving emails from each other.

I do want to thank any Epicor Tech support folks who may be still monitoring the list. You guys were a great help to me since our Vantage implementation in 2000. I think I spent the most actual phone time with Craig, but Tim, Virginia, Brenda, Luanne, Phil, Bev, Jay, Ben and Wendy all helped out many, many times. It's been so long now since I've called Epicor, I don't know who all is still around. I even got to meet a few of you a few years back. Thanks.

To the Yahoo Group list, you've been incredible in helping once-newbie's like me through the rough stages of Vantage implementation, conversions, multiple enhancement projects, and then the gazillion "Off Topic" questions as well. Those OT's are the reason I will probably continue to monitor the list occasionally.

I've appreciated all of the help in the past. Anything I can do to help someone in the future, I'd be glad to try. My Yahoo email is tbfbranch@....

Hi Todd,
Maybe it will help the "rules" a bit to know that Vantage will still be rumbling in the background with ProControl running on our server for probably the next 10 years. We still have our Pre-Vantage system running on one PC for legacy inquiries. I'm sure over the next few months we'll be accessing Vantage quite frequently. So, in a sense, we're still Vantage users. Just don't expect any help from me when anyone converts to Vantage version 20.0. We put the brakes on at Vantage 5.1.
