Calculate Tax on the Quote Screen

Unless you win all of your quotes in the exact manner that you quoted them…calculating the tax is a waste of your time.  This is just my humble opinion!

Has anyone customized the Opportunity/Quote Entry screen to call the Tax Connect service to calculate the tax on the quote?  Would you be willing to share or point me in the right direction?  Or, if anyone has tried this, you can tell me that it's not worth the effort.  I'd be interested in that, too.
