# Calculation in a BPM or us to mixed UD field

In Order Entry line detail, we would like to calculate the discount between the Part Master listed unit price and the final 'Order Based Unit Price'. Epicor support said to create a calculation, then create a UD field and a BPM to populate it. I can create a UD field, but i can't figure out how or where to create the calculation. Can anyone elaborate? Thank you!

You'll need to put a bpm on a method (Order.Update?) and use the Execute Custom Code function or one of the built in workflow functions to do the calculation and assign the value to the UD field you created.
