Can anyone recommend some formal Kinetic training for administration?

Hello,

We have a newer administrator we are trying to get into Epicor.

We are looking for some type of formal training for Kinetic administration since we are being forced into it in May 2026.

Any recommendations?

Online classes are preferred since he is in another country from us.

I asked our Epicor rep and they recommended 1:1 customized training on your environment with a Professional Services Consultant.

I am looking for alternatives to this to give my manager options.

Any help is appreciated.

I can recommend the folks over at SixS Partners. I am not sure if they offer customized 1 on 1. Can’t he just learn like the rest of us? Trial by (dumpster) fire…

Use the classic learning method HYGFIO.

…here ya go - figure it out!

Lol, I would rather avoid that since I will be the one called to put the fire out!

I will check out SixS Partners.

Thanks for the suggestion!

If you have access to Epicor Learning Center, there are a few courses for System Administration.

Trial by dumpster fire over here though…

We do lean on consultants every now and again. We partnered with Encompass, Inc. and they have some really good people.

I agree, whether 3rd-party consultants or Epicor’s Professional Services are a good way to go to get up to speed relatively quickly. In terms of server-side admin, Epicor’s Ramiro Sanchez is a great source for ensuring the Admin Console & SSMS are configured and setup properly. He’s been our go-to via Professional Services whenever we’ve needed a set of experienced eyes to make sure we configured everything properly, and getting various maintenance routines setup and scheduled.

:safe_harbor: I work for SixS Partners :safe_harbor:

The ELC courses for System Admin are pretty generic, and don’t cover enough to be the only source of education for a new admin. Hopefully you’re not throwing him in the deep end and expecting high-level dashboards, reports, customizations, and such on Day 1, but probably any consulting organization (Epicor or us or any other third-party Epicor consultancy) could help get him/her up to speed… keeping in mind there’s a big fire hose to be drinking from.
