each class, one chooses the "base UOM" and each other UOM has to have a
conversion factor to the base UOM. KG is generally a weight class and Meters
is a Length class, so there is no conversion between the two. (There's a
similar issue with volume vs weight OZs)
The only solution I can imagine is to make up a new UOM - say KGM within the
Length class and place your conversion factor there, then make sure that
your PUOM is the new KGM UOM.
