We are using Epicor 9.06.602
We outsource machining from various departments. For example we have a part number associated with CNC Machining. In any given day a supplier may quote CNC Machining for three different jobs that require the use of the same part number but will have three different prices.
If I enter a separate RFQ for each job in RFQ Entry and then put in a supplier response for each RFQ it will increment the EFFECTIVE DATE in the part/vendor file which results in an RFQ with that cannot be used until the the price becomes effective at a later date.
If I enter an RFQ for the same part number but use multiple line items it consolidates all the line items into one so I cannot enter different prices for the same part number.
Any help/ideas on how to work around this would be appreciated.
