Candidate checkbox

Can anyone tell me what the candidate checkbox signifies in job entry or job status maintenance?

I assume it’s that certain criteria have been met for possibly marking complete?

AFAIK it gets set to true when the final operation on the job (either the last in the Seq or the one marked final operation) has its Op Complete flag checked.

This is a filter point in Job COmpletion/Closing.

Agree with @leonardpothier it flags the job as a candidate for the auto job complete/close processes.
