We were unable to delete call logs in 8.03 and 9.04.
We have had lots of contact who have left customers and we still have call logs
against them.
We also had an issue where if you deleted a contact who had a call log assigned
to them and then added a fresh contact in their place, the call log would get
assigned to that new contact which is wrong.
Its strange how it is meant to be so you cant delete them according to Epicor
but they just happen to be changing that in a new version :-)Â "working as
designed" springs to mind.
We have had to make call logs in-active by setting them with a default
description in the drop down.
This way, when you can delete them, we can search on them.

We are using 9.04.506c and just noticed that same issue. Did you ever get this
resolved? I entered a support call with Epicor and was told that, by design, the
delete functionality has always been disabled. However, development is planning
on adding an enhancement to 9.1 to allow deleting. As I am pretty sure I have
deleted call logs before, I don't believe it has always been this way.
Did you pursue this with Epicor and get a fix, or were you told the same thing?
