I am in Application studio trying to edit an Epicor created entry screen, adding a text box search parameter. I have created a new layer, saved it, restarted Epicor, and I cannot add the text box or anything to the main page. I can add things to connected pages, but any entry screen main page I cannot edit. Am I missing something?
You’re not missing anything… that’s just the way it works. The Main “Orders” page (for example) in the Application Map primarily just displays tab pages underneath it… You can edit some minor things there in the header block/hero bar area… but that’s it.
If you want to add components lower on the page, those are INSIDE the Details page… or INSIDE the Activity page. So, you need to make the changes on those pages in App Studio.
