Our system upgraded to 2024.2.7 and we ran into issues again.
I can no longer publish layers. I imported a base application and layer.
When I publish it says failed with the following message.
Does it automatically publish when you import now? If so this is not a bug.
I was in the menu system and it was in the list of published applications except that I was not able to publish it. Odd.
If you make a minor change to the layer and save it, does the “Has Draft” check box come up?
The only time I have seen error this myself, is if I click “publish” in the layer it self.
Funny thing, I usually publish from the Application Studio screen. That is where I got the error.
Confirmed, I added a space to a dashboard caption and saved. The Is Draft turns on on the Home Screen. I did have to go out of the screen and back into it again but Is Draft is on. Thanks for the suggestion.
It must have published when I imported it. I will have to check that again the next time I move a customization from Pilot to live. We have about 30 more to go. And over 70 dashboards.
