I am trying to prove out in our test environment what Epicor does to handle a situation when we void an order line that is buy-to-order with an approved linked PO.
Epicor has no problem with me voiding that order line. I have since run Net Change and Regen MRP as well as Generate PO Suggestions. I am looking for a Cancel PO suggestion, but I’m not getting one. I don’t see any when I search for that type of suggestion (not just for this part).
None of the POs in our system are marked with LockQty set to TRUE. I ran a query to check. No results.
What else could be preventing this type of suggestion from generating? Is there anything I need to know about how MRP/PO Suggestions interact with buy-to-order lines?
