Can't resolve localhost for Customer Connect

"localhost" will only work if you are running customer connect at the
server in IE. This will not work if you are running customer connect
from any other computer either locally or remotely. What version of
Vantage are you running? Once I know which version, I can be more
specific on how to fix it.

Subject: [Vantage] Can't resolve localhost for Customer Connect

Has anyone been involved with the implementation of Customer Connect on
a Windows 2003 STD Server and finding that localhost will not resolve
through the browser? All other functions of the application are in
working condition and localhost (127.0.0.1) resolve to the server name
via ping. We are getting the error in the browser "Page not found"
HTTP error 400 bad request. Any insight would be extremely helpful.
