We created a PO’s for a new project. We wanted to track progress so we decided to purchase direct to the jobs. After we set all the jobs to purchase direct and created PO’s, engineering changed the BOM.s and all the material sequences were changed and did not match the PO’s we created so we decided to change the PO’s to a new warehouse we created for the project. Now I want to change the existing PO lines from Job Material to Inventory prior to receiving these materials. It wont let me change the PO lines from job material to inventory. Anyone know of a way to do this? I don’t want to lose the PO line numbers by adding new lines and then deleting the job material lines.
Unfortunately, I think your best bet would be to delete the lines and then recreate them as buy to inventory in the desired order.
