You need to tell MRP how you want it to create the jobs.
I am on 8.03.409 and in Engineering, Set Up, Part, Plant Tab there is an MRP Planning box top center. You can set a minimum quantity, and/or a multiple. If you set the Days of Supply MRP will find the first requirement then look out that number of days and combine all requirements in one job (and based on mins and multiples, if you set it.)
