Changing a field on a form job cost adjustment

is there a way to make this field updatable on the form .. this is related to the LaborDtl table.. seems to be adding all prod hours… but was wondering if I can change the labor Note from to something else

According to the classic help, that field is not editable.
I have a method directive that changes it to something more meaningful for our business process, albeit, now that I read the help maybe that wasn’t the best idea🤔
