Changing Quantity Produced

Kerry;

I shutter to think how your Finance dept reconciles Job Cost...I
guess it would all depend on how you are costing your finished part
recieved to inventory.

Nevertheless, if you go to Production Management>Job
Management>Genral Operations: Labor Entry

Find the Shop Employee that recorded the last (or final operation)
final quantity and change it to what really completed.

You can edit Labor up until Finance does Capture. Once Capture is
done, the only place to edit anything about a job would be through
Job Adjustment. This can be done up until the job is closed. Once
the job is closed...you really should be cautious on changing
anything about a job. But usually by then, Finance has already
raised a bunch of red flags.

Hope this helps.

Good morning all,
When your production people have entered the wrong quantity as completed in final inspection, how do you adjust this? So far, we have just been adjusting the amount we receive into inventory. Is there another way?
Thanks for your help.
