Corporate Accountant/
Controller
Well established company in the Chicagoland area seeks an experienced
Corporate Accountant/Controller who is an extraordinary team player that
will thrive in our down to earth, professional culture. This individual will
report directly to the Owner and has the opportunity to grow into a CFO
role.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills are required.
The right person will have a passionate desire to learn about our business
in order to assume overall responsibility for financial activity.
Responsibilities include:
* Maintain general ledger and post journal entries
* Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
* Conduct bank and account reconciliations
* Prepare and analyze financial reports
* Conduct project costing and analysis
* Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and month end close
* Assist with Accounts Receivable/Payable
* Work closely with the Owner and the Plant Manager to insure all
company profit goals are met and exceeded
Qualifications:
* 5+ years experience
* Accounting degree
* Sense of humor
* Strong work history
* Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
* Experience with fully integrated ERP systems
* Background in Manufacturing a plus
