Chinese chars through Service Connect (Any SC gurus?)

Thanks for the suggestion Mr. Walker. (With my luck, Russian would probably work) I've been digging and digging but I can't find anything that gives me a hint how to get the Chinese characters through SC. They either disappear or turn to garbage. Strange that it loses them. Maybe putting in Chinese language on the server that has SC installed? Either that or I'm going to try to put the characters directly in the record after it gets through SC. I know that works, but it's really not one I prefer to do.

Thanks again! Any other ideas, please let me know.

I have programs I wrote that send the characters to the tables and it works just fine. But if I try to send it through S.C., I get nothing or junk in the fields. The destination fields are ntext or nvarchar and both should be fine with this (and are in other programs) and I do use the "N" when sending the data through. I have sent the csv file from my external program and I have also taken the csv and dropped directly in the SC input folder (and it does contain the correct characters in the field). Nada both ways. The variables could contain just Chinese or Chinese and English characters and just end up in a Comments field. Like I said, I can do this fine in my other programs, just SC needs to give me grief. Has anyone done this or can offer any suggestions? Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Hi all,

This is really going to be a long shot, but I figure I give it a try. Has anyone ever tried to send Chinese characters through Service Connect?
