Sarah,
Add the -T parameter to the command line to set the temp directory.
-T n:\users\%username%\vntgwork should do the trick.

All of a sudden this morning, we started getting the following error message
when trying to connect to Vantage over Citrix. This is occurring for all
Citrix sessions, local or over the T1 and we get to error when connecting
directly to Vantage locally.
"The system cannot find the path specified. Failing component:
V:\progress\bin\prowin32.exe v:\vantage\db\vantage.db -ininame
v:\vantage\vantage.ini -pf v:\vantage\db\vantage.pf -N TCP -S vantage -H
nmclinton -p mainmenu.w"
Does anybody have any ideas as to what may be causing this? We didn't
change anything on our workstations or on the cotrix server over the
weekend?
Thanks!

Sarah,
Make sure your mapped drive is still in place on the citrix server, if
so, remove the mapping and remap again. I've experienced this same problem a
few times myself.

You may also need to reinstall the Vantage Client. That also seems
to fix a lot of the errors. Let me know if any of these fixes your
problem. We use Citrix at are place also.

I tried unmapping and mapping the V drive again. Then I tried uninstalling
and re-installing. that worked, however, that caused errors for all the
users not on citrix. So, I reinstalled another user workstation and that
fixed the problem for the straight users but now the citrix users are
getting the error message again. Now I think it's because our vntgwork
folder is on the C drive for our regular workstations, but on the citrix
server there is no c, the c is the n. Does anybody know How I can install
this on to the n without screwing up all the ones that hit the c????

Create two separate .vtg files then you can change one without affecting the other.
Hope this helps,
Oleg

There are 2 options -
1) Create a New VTG file that is the same as the
Vantage.vtg file, but with the vntgwork location as N,
and then use that VTG file to start vantage.
2) If you start vantage with a command line, make sure
that the location of vntgwork is N: for your citrix users.

Thanks. I can do that. But I am running Vantage over citrix using a
published application, so I don't know if that will work for me. Does
anybody have their Citrix drives different? Can you tell me how your is set
up? You published application line? Thanks,
Sarah

v:\vantage\db\vantage.db -ininame v:\vantage\vantage.ini -pf
v:\vantage\db\vantage.pf -N TCP -S vantage -H nmclinton -p mainmenu.w

My published application has
"v:\vantage\vantage.exe v:\vantage\citrix.vtg"
as the command line. With the Citrix.vtg being
the changed Vantage.vtg file. Good luck, let
me know if you have any more questions.
