We did the same thing as Tom did with our Vntgwork folder, with
the only difference is that we did use the users Homedrive on the
Citrix/Terminal Server. As far as the published application goes,
I made a copy of our vantage.vtg file, and changed the vntgwork
folder in there, and then on the command line for the application
we have "R:\vantage\vantage.exe R:\vantage\termsrv.vtg", where the
R drive is mapped to our Vantage server. We haven't had many
problems at all running as a published application this way.
For the connection errors, there are two different places that the IP
address of the citrix server can be entered. One is for making the
connection to the desktop, the other affects published applications.
To set the one for Published apps, when the Program neighborhood
first starts, click in the middle of the screen, so that nothing is
highlighted,
the click on Properties from the file menu. I usually choose to always
use TCP/IP, and then put in the address of the server. Then you
should be able to connect to the published applications that you have
setup.
If you have any questions, let me know. Good luck!!
