Citrix Problem

Bob,

There is a web site, thethin.net, which has a searchable
message archive. I know recently there was a discussion
about transport errors. You can search there, or go to
Citrix support and search from transport errors. Good
luck, and sorry I couldn't be of more help.

I'm hoping someone can help me with this problem. We've been running
Citrix for two years with no problem but now whenever I install
Citrix and try to connect I get an error that reads: Cannot connect
to the Citrix server, Transport driver error. All existing users have
no problems.
Bob,

What machines are you trying to install the client software
on? Are they windows 95? Can you "ping" the citrix
server? We had a problem with some of our windows 95
machines and the TCP/IP Stack. There is a .bat file in the
windows directory that needed to be run to correct the
problem. Basically, the TCP/IP software was not functioning,
meaning we couldn't even ping our destination. Let me know
if you have any more questions.

I've had this problem on Win95,98 and W2k machines and I can ping the
server. Sometimes if I try enough times it will finally connect.

Bob,

What machines are you trying to install the client software
on? Are they windows 95? Can you "ping" the citrix
server? We had a problem with some of our windows 95
machines and the TCP/IP Stack. There is a .bat file in the
windows directory that needed to be run to correct the
problem. Basically, the TCP/IP software was not functioning,
meaning we couldn't even ping our destination. Let me know
if you have any more questions.
