Client work with two servers

We actually have 3 different Vantage Servers running. Out Live
8.04.11b, our test server (current 8.0 412 version) for testing upgrades
and a Vantage 8.03 server for testing new version and development/
revision of customizations for move to 8.03 version.

I have all 3 servers running off of the same client. I do a separate
install for each server into a different working directory.

Under C:\epicor directory I have 3 working directories - mfgwrk80 for
the live system, mfgwrkT80 for test server and mfgwrk803 for the 803
server. This allows each version to have its own set of forms,
customizations, personalizations, etc separate & apart from each other

We have two new servers setup with Vantage 803. One will be for IT guys to
do the testing. How can I set up my client to point two both servers so I
can switch between them easily?

Thanks

Bill

In your default.mfgsys file (or what ever DB you are connecting to change
the line

<AppServerURL value="AppServerDC://SERVERNAMEHERE:8301" /> to the server and
port you are connecting to.

Useful links for the Yahoo!Groups Vantage Board are: ( Note: You must have
already linked your email address to a yahoo id to enable access. )
(1) To access the Files Section of our Yahoo!Group for Report Builder and
Crystal Reports and other 'goodies', please goto:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/vantage/files/.
(2) To search through old msg's goto:

One more thing.

In the Shortcuts add /CONFIG=test.mfgsys to the end of the Target and have
it point to the mfgsys file you what it to use. If there is no /CONFIG= it
points to the default.mfgsys file.
