Climbing the mountain (or taking a plunge)

I'll get my act together and post a to-do list here later today.

I would really like to see the to-do list, could you send me a copy or post
them for everyone? I have ver 5 running on a test machine and need to
schedule the live update, but have been a little relucant.

Hey Rick! Go for it! (And let us know if you make it).

My only thought is - go ahead and start installing the clients before the
weekend. I don't know if it's happened for you, but the Client install for
5.0 takes a bit longer (and requires a reboot of each workstation) than for
3.0 or 4.0. I wish there was a way around that. But when we go live at the
end of the month (if a few other things come together), I plan to have all
the clients installed before we even reach C-day. There will be enough
other things to do that have to wait till last minute.

Do you have a to-do list to cover everything? I had some helpful folks send
me there's and it enlightened me in a few areas.

Well gang, I'm joining that super-elite group of 5.0 'ers. I've
installed the program along-side 4.0 on the server already, and am
planning to convert my data this weekend.

Any last minute suggestions on converting and installing 25 clients will
be greatly appreciated.

I'm operating under the premise that this is the smart move (Green
Beret) and not a suicide mission (Kamikaze)...

Wish me luck, I'm goin' in.

Troy,

A 5.0 Upgrade to-do list would be a great resource for me as well. We are
upgrading from Vantage 3.
