# Closed lines don't show on Order Acknowledgment

If we re-print an Order Ack, for an oder with some closed lines, those closed lines don't appear. 

I've looked at the OrderAck in SSRS Designer and cant find why those lines don't show.

Any thoughts?

Hmmm .... I added First(OrderHed.OrderLine) above any groups, and it returns "4" instead of 1.

Must be in the RDD

Turns out that it was just Order Lines that were migrated from V8 to E10, and had been fulfilled back in V8.

Last I checked, they do not get generated in the data set. Epicor applies some logic (or lack thereof) to generate the data for the Acknowledgement, rather than employ logic in the report, which we could then have access to.

Couldn’t the RDD be modified to ensure closed lines are included?

If memory serves me correct (I am getting older) the RDD does have all the required fields. The problem comes with the logic used to extract the data set. It only extracts lines that are open. I am not aware of how you could change that in the RDD. I have not kept up on a lot of the new functionality but I think that is still the case. If not someone please chime in so I can get an education.

you can't change the "base RDD" generation - but you might be able to include closed lines as a linked table or a new table to a customized RDD  .. however those data lines would flow into a different table name requiring serious changes to the report - so it may be easier just to create a brand new BAQ report.

**FTR - It wasn't because those lines were closed.  It was because they had broken links to the jobs that made and shipped them.**

So no amount of RDD tweaking would have fixed it (short of removing tables that referenced the linked jobs)
