Cloud Management Portal - Data Model Regen Elapsed Time

Hi

Just wondering if everybody has the same experience that Data Model Regen in CMP takes an age - doing the same within Epicor Admin Console for an on-prem customer takes a couple of minutes usually.

Total time to run regen data model 02/17/2026 11:00:39 AM GMT Completed 00:20:37

Do we know if the Epicor product owner is a friendly staffer that frequents the forum? :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Cheers
Mark

Yes, it always takes 20+ minutes for me via the CMP, waiting for it to finish at this very moment. I also love the inconsistency between the started and refreshed time formats.

Not only does it take ages, I have had to run it multiple times for it to work sometimes. Still faster than waiting on a ticket though

I have found that sometimes it tells you it completed successfully, but if you dig into the log files it actually failed - hence having to rerun it again.

Copy @aosemwengie1 - it has always taken at least 20min. Except before CMP the Support people consistently took 1 hour. Hmmmmm thinking

Third here confirming it’s about 20min for a regen but faster than a support ticket usually.

Same here. At least 20+ min for a regen.

Refresh Database usually takes around 45+min.

@timshuwy do you happen to know who the Product Owner is for CMP? Many Thanks.

I think Tracy Guille (@tguille_epicor) - at least she was the one running the controlled release program.

Confirmed that it is Tracy.
