I have some questions regarding co-parts:
If you have Part A and Co-Part B, what happens to Co-Part B if Part A is reported as non-conforming, but Co-Part B is good? Does it still go to stock or does it get recorded as non-conforming as well?
What about the other way around (Co-Part B is non-conforming but part A is good)?
Further, what if Part A is rejected? Does MRP tell you to make more of Part A? If so, how do you do this without making Co-Part B as well?
What about if Co-Part B is rejected (second scenario)? Can you make more of these without making more of Part A?
Is there a way to make only Part A or Co-Part B (not because of conformance issues) if the customer wants only one part and not the other?
Lots of learning... Thanks in Advance!
