Maybe this isn’t even possible, but reaching for advice here.
We have a manufacturing process for hose that sometimes create by-products sometimes does not. We try to make a certain length of hose, but if there is a defect, the hose gets cut, and can be sold at whatever length that hose was before the defect. If there was no defect, the product is only part A rather than part A and part B.
Is it possible to set up co-parting to enable a user to choose the quantity produced or does everything have to be standardized for this process to work?
I know we have users here who are familiar with it, but I personally have never tested it.
Do you have to define a quantity on the method or can it be different each time? We may have a hose length that is 60’, the next time it could be 460’.
