Comma's in Invoice, POs, etc. in Print Preview in Group Tree

In Crystal, go to Group Expert, click Options, go to the Options tab, select "Customize Group Name Field", Select "Use a Formula as Group Name", click on the formula button and create an appropriate formula, i.e.: totext({InvcDtl.InvoiceNum},"######",0)

I have a BAQ which exports Part information to CSV. When we open the csv with Excel, the descriptions which have commas cause the fields to misalign.

Does anybody else have this problem? Is there a function in the BAQ I can use to replace commas with spaces?

The export function asks for text delimiter, just use something else.
Of course, you have to specify the new delimiter to Excel as well. You can do this by using "Data", "Import External Data" in a blank worksheet.

What Bob said. I use the pipe (|) character. I have never seen it used in any normal text, so you are just about guaranteed to get a proper separation of fields using that.

I apoligize if this is a repeat. I seem to remember there was an answer for
getting rid of the commas in the listing of Invoices, POs etc in the Print
Preview screen in the Group Tree...i.e. Invoce 10016, 10017, 10018 showing
up in Tree View as 10,016, 10,017,10,018; not a big issue...but annoying.

right click in the tree area, pick tree options, then pick the line you
want to modify...exactly how is where I fall short....
