Comment/memo fields used with ODBC and MS Access

Of course, the moment I posted this message I thought of a workaround. I
used an ActiveX control instead of the boxed text control on my form and it
works great.

Dah...

Subject: [Vantage] Comment/memo fields used with ODBC and MS Access.

I'm sure this is something someone else has had to deal with and
before I spend hours trying to figure it out, I'm looking for some
advice.

When I link the Vantage database to MS Access via ODBC and use a text
box to display a comment/memo field from Vantage it doesn't format
correctly.

I think progress uses a different set of control characters for line
returns. In MS Access they show up as small squares in table view or
a vertical line in form view.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
