Commission Report needed before Invoice wihtin Sales Order

Although you may be able to do this in Crystal with a SQL Expressions.
It is easier to do this with SQL views written off your SQL or progress
database, using the data administration tools for the later.

You then write reports off the back of those views.

Within Vantage 8.0 and crystal report, I have not seen a way to split
an array so that a SQL can be done. Would this be done within the
crystal report?

The way our business works... we have to send Commission allocation
sheets for each Sales Order or Job. Within Vantage, we havent been
able to do that. Is there anyone out there that may have developed or
is in development that could possibly help me with this issue.

Scope
-Get a commission report from the Sales Order by line item.
-All ready tried to do a subreport but commission is done by one
column within the table. Cannot get a clean SQL command and cant use
group headers because cannot have a subreport within a subreport.

Any suggestions will be greatful...

Kevin,

What version of vantage are you running? I have a Report Builder report
that I modeled after one that Todd Caughey sent me that may work for
you. If you are running 6.1 or later and have report builder I can send
to you off list.

I have created an enhancement request document # 21687MPS with Epicor.

I would like to know anyone out there that would need this document for
Version 8.00.809. I would presume that it would work with 8.803 when
it comes out fully.
Write it as part of the sales order acknowledgement in Crystal using
ODBC and an SQL view do split out the Sales Rep array

Gary,

How do you split the array for an SQL view? Would this work on the
scheduling tables? Can Corvu read SQL Views? I presume so but never
tried...

Thanks
