Configurator changing font color (8.03.305)

We can thank Mr. Edginton. I'm pretty sure that's where I got the idea in
the first place.

I am trying to figure out how to alert the quoter to options that
might not be possible. We make belt conveyors and the way I designed
my first configurator is that after they enter some basic information
it displays a vertical radioset of all the available belt widths and
next to that it shows the calculated belt speed for each width.

I would like to change the font color to red or display some type of
alert when the belt speed is over the recommended maximum but don't
want to completely block them from selecting it since there may be
other factors that make it possible. Any recommendations would be
greatly appreciated.

Mark
You cant change the font!

You cant change properties of the inputs,

If you could you could say make them hidden or change
there size, but you lost this ability in 8+.

It would also be hard to do with customization as they
have not provided any UD fileds in any of the dataset for say pc inputs
to manipulate plus the nature of the dynamic controls would make things
more tricky.

One option would be to have an editor box that is not
enabled (prompt when = false)

Then you can use this as a status alert. It would be
multi lined and can be populated with any information you wish.

This is exactly what we do. We display the message "Configuration is
correct" or display "***Configuration Warnings***" or "***Configuration
Errors***" with an informational message underneath.

That worked excellent...thanks Mark.
