Rick,
Do you have a Sales Order with release lines to be shipped? How do you
handle the customer requirement when the shipment is fulfilled with
the manual packing slip?. If the release remains open, it will appear
in your Scheduled Shipments Report as a past due release until the
customer pulls the parts and start the invoicing process.
Thanks,
Eunice Corral

Mike-
We have a consignment warehouse in our system for a physical warehouse
in Laredo, TX. Our customer arranges for freight down. When shipped,
our shipping clerk creates a manual pack slip/BOL to get the truck
going. Then, we transfer the parts between warehouses within Vantage.
Lastly, when our customer pulls parts out of the Laredo warehouse, we
ship from stock from this warehouse in Vantage, the pack slip/BOL are
created (and ultimately pitched) and the shipment is invoiced. The
customer will fax/e-mail us the number of pieces of each part that will
be picked up (approx. 7 SKUs are housed in this warehouse) which starts
the invoicing.
Hope this helps!
Thanks!
Rick Ludwig

I have 500-700 hundred order lines to bill each month.
When we send the consignment inventory to the customer
on a packing slip, we delete the original packing slip
and then create another one when invoicing (for a
different quantity; quantity used not quantity
originally shipped to the customer).
Does anybody do consignment thru vantage?
If so do you do volume consignment billing?
