I have had a couple of instances recently where right click links and even links on buttons are not working. For example the link from the Job Manager screen when you click the Job Entry button throws up the below error, has EPICOR been playing with these at al recently.
I can even see TMG menus in anything we are licensed for
Another example for one user was right clicking on a Sales Order Number and selecting Order Tracker in Job Entry and it not opening it as he didnt have access to the menu option that was called from the right click He can access Order Tracker from elsewhere its just the one it calls from the right click calls the on in Sales Management > Order Management and he doesnt have access to that area of the system.
The only thing you can do to get around this is to put a copy of the Order Tracker somewhere in your system that all pertinent users can access… then customize your Context Menu to point to that specific menu.
Thats what i was just thinking, we dont have it either, why would EPICOR do that?, Surely if you want Job Entry you link it to the main Job Entry menu option?
Can the link be changed, not that i should have to?
I suppose you can double check and make sure yours is set up the same. I don’t see why there would be any difference unless someone in your organization is overriding that event and steering the app-open to a different menu/application.
