Converting a Part to a different UOM

Good morning!
I’m new to Epicor Kinetic and could use a little help with the proper procedure to convert a part that was initially entered in the system with a UOM of EA when it should have been entered as LBS.

Doe anyone have a procedure on how to complete a UOM conversion from EA to LBS when there have already been transactions done on the part?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi @markb333,

I’m assuming the ‘Part UOM Conversion’ doesn’t work for you? I thought that worked provided you don’t have stock on hand against the part, but I could be wrong?

if the part has any kind of transaction history your only option is to create a new part.

I tried this first, but it appears that since EA in a different UOM class than LBS it won’t let me do a conversion from EA to LBS for this part.
