COParts 9.05.700c

Hey, thanks Josh! Why didn't I think to look at that!

Has anyone played with setting up CoParts through Engineers WB? I notice that the Material / Labor Factors could only be input as integers, I must suck at new math cuz in our world it just might be 1.5... Anyone found a work around for this or perhaps I missed something. Thanks!

Rob,

Another annoying thing is that they can only go up to 999. But this only makes us off by a few pennies.

Here is what we did: Set one of the factors (whichever part has the largest percent of material or labor cost) to 999, and then set the others according to their percentage. So if we really wanted the material factors on three parts/co-parts to be (a) 1, (b) 0.65, and (c) 0.4 - we would actually set them to:

(a) 1 * 999 = 999
(b) 0.65 * 999 = 649
(c) 0.4 * 999 = 400

So they would be set to 999, 550, and 400 respectively, and then the costs would come out very close to the same as if they were 1, 0.65, and 0.4.

Thanks! Josh suggested something similar, I'll definitely give that a try.

the actual data field can store more than only 999. I just customized that screen and adjusted the input format on that field. simply a UI limitation easy to get past.

FYI - Just to avoid confusion, I had a typo in my response, sorry. They would be "999, 649, and 400 respectively," not "999, 550, and 400".
