Looking for creative ideas to get a field available from the Quote that will carry notes through to the order and then the job. I can’t use Quote Head or Line comments as these notes would show on the quote. Think of them as internal notes.
What it is… We sell truck equipment and our dealers/distribution have the option to do the installation themselves or they can have our shop do the installation. Our factory installation manager often times is consulted during the quote to get an idea of capacity/availability - which often dictates who gets the business. He wants to be able to make notes on the quote for him/his team so that when the job gets created, it connects the dots - in other words it’s something he’s already accounted for and not a new opportunity to be scheduled.
I was hoping there was a UserChar01 or something like that but it doesn’t look like they did that on the Quote tables. Any suggestions?
