There is a simple method if you are comfortable with doing a dump and load and know the tables well enough to know which ones to keep and which ones not to. I have done this several times:
Dump the data from both databases.
Copy the text files from the source dump folder to the destination dump folder.
Reload and index the data.
You just have to make sure you copy the correct tables. Our database is almost 4 gig and I can do a full dump and load in about 45 minutes. Of course, I already have a blank database with the definitions ready to start with (saved this from the 1st time I did the dump and load).

Subject: [Vantage] Copy parts form one DB to another?
We are doing some testing on the pilot and test databases with version
406. Is there an easy way to remove all transactions from a database,
yet retain all the parts and their methods?
Or can multiple parts and their methods be copied from one DB to
another blank database easily?
