Correct Ship By Dates Dashboard. Does anyone know anything about it?

Hello,
Does anyone know about the Correct Ship By Dates dashboard, appears to have been introduced around v 2023.

There appears to be no documentation about it. Logged a ticket, but wanting to know if anyone is using it, and I am assuming along with the Shipping Calendar???

Never used it before but did a little quick digging this morning.

It’s an updateable dashboard that shows you any sales order releases with an invalid ship by date.

Grid comes from updateable BAQ: zCorrectShipByDates

To set up:

  • Go to Production Calendar.
  • Add a new calendar. (you may choose to use an existing calendar)
  • Define which days in the year where you cannot ship. E.g. all Saturdays/Sundays.
  • Go Site Configuration.
  • Choose your site.
  • Click on Shipping Receiving
  • Select your calendar.

Now when you put in a Order release with a ship by date on a Saturday, that order line/rel will appear on the Correct Ship By Dates Dashboard. You can correct the date from the dashboard.

To add to this,
There are 2 additional fields in the Site Config, Invalid Ship By Date Action and Invalid Need By Action. These can be set to None, Warn or Stop.

Meaning it’s possible to stop an incorrect date from being keyed at the very beginning of the process!

Also, my understanding is you set the Calendar for days whern you CAN ship.
