Correcting Labor Hours in 8.03.305k

At least back here on 5.2, all you have to do is what you said, change
the time and hence the hours on the labor Header and the Labor Detail
records. The labor detail record is what applies the hours to the job
so changing this adjusts the job.

Subject: [Vantage] Correcting Labor Hours in 8.03.305k

We are going to have a re-training session on how to correct labor hours
in 8.03.305k and I want to make sure I understand the process correctly.
For example when someone forgets to clock out (unbelievable how often
this happens) we go into labor entry and change both the payroll and
labor hours to the correct end time. Do we then have to go to the job
adjustment screen and do a negative entry to reduce the number of hours
in the job? I thought it made this adjustment automatically but it
doesn't appear to be happening.
