COS/WIP capture

The problem was that we created a 13th period for end of year closing but
Epicor 9 sets this period to closing so even when doing as you outline here
it didn't work. I ended up deleting the Fiscal year and re-inputting it
without the extra closing period and we could then run it as you describe

If December period is still open,
when you run the COS/WIP
under the options change the Ending Date to 12/31/2011. This will
automatically change the start date to 12/1/2011, and should make it post
into December 2011. You should be able to run an inventory/wip
reconciliation for December 2011 unposted transactions to see what is
waiting to post.

We went Live at the start of January and posted all our stock qtys and costs in December. Any ideas?
IF the issue is just reopening the period, just go to fiscal period setup and reopen there...

The problem is that this 'thirteenth period' is a special one and isn't
listed as a normal period within Fiscal Period setup. When you set up your
periods for a year you can set up the number of periods as 12 and add a
closing period (or more) which you can't see in the normal way. The only
thing I can see is to delete the whole year and re-enter without the closing
period but we have posted items in this year so that would cause problems at
the end of this financial year
