Create task set with parallel tasks

Hello,

I’m currently working to set up a workflow in Epicor 10.
I created a task set and connected the tasks with next milestones.
This was no problem and it worked.

Now I want to set up a task set with parallel tasks.

This means for example:

  • 1. check order
  • 2a. create drawings 2b. check lead time parts
  • 3a. create job 3b. confirm order
  • 4a. purchase parts 4b. check and create shipping documents
  • 5a. assemble parts 5b. -
  • 6. ship parts
  • 7. create invoice

Task 1 must be completed before people can start with task 2
Task 2a and 2b are parellel tasks and done by different people
Same for task 3, 4 and 5.
Task 6 cannot be completed before task 5a and 4b have been completed.

I hope there is someone who can help me setting up the task set properly.

I’ve seen Related Tasks, under milestones, used for Parallel Tasks.

I am still missing loads of info.
I know there are related tasks & parent tasks.
I tried several things but without any result.

I really want to make progress with this, so any useful info is more than welcome.
