I am trying to create Kinetic dashboard with one of the baqs has parameter. Baq1 to jobhead table and baq2 to jobasmbl do not have parameters. Baq3 to joboper has parameters which is intended to filter the data in the background (not to show the slider everytime) by jobnumber from jobhead. The parent child relatiohships between Dataview1 using Baq1 (parent) and dataview2 using baq2 (child) has been created using filter and they are working fine. But when I try to add the dataview3 using baq3 with parameter (jobnumber) linked to Jobasmbl (baq2) then it is blank. Looking for your help to create dashboard using baq with parameters.
Please seach the forum. This has been asked a few times already. That will get you started. If you get stuck post what your work and someone will be able to jump in and assist.
My thought is that this could come down to timing. Your dashboard could be trying to populate dataview3 before dataview2 is populated… then there is no parameter to send.
Can you share your sequence of events and set up for your baq3 call?
