Creating Required field color

There is a "Required" checkbox in Extended Properties maintenance. From
what I can tell, this does not make the field required when saving. But if
you go to Tools | Options | Control Indicators and check the "Required
Field" checkbox and choose a color, all the fields that are marked as
"Required" in Extended Properties will have that different color border.
Even UD fields.

Hi,
Is it possible to make custom mandatory fields to be displayed in the different color. If it is how can I make sure that the all the custom fileds are displayed in red while adding data.

thanks
I'm looking for some way to Programmatically set the border color of Epitextbox and Epicombobox to red in C#. This is done to make sure that the fields with red border are one of the required fields and as soon as the field gets the value we want to make the borderColor turn to normal.

It's a property provided by infragistics. If you look at the properties panel while focused on a textbox field you will see the property for border color. Just modify the color in your code when x conditions are met.
