CRW32.EXE Error using Crystal

We're just glad it's working. This has been a full week's project
and while we might not fully understand the "whys" the one thing
we've all learned is, "whatever works". Thanks so much, as always,
for responding. I really appreciate it. Some day we'll get all of
our computers properly upgraded!

the command that works for both (ie. 7.0). Also, perhaps 8.5 isn't
saving in the 7.0 format accurately.

We have an ODBC Crystal report that we're trying to run. If we
select one date, the preview of the report works fine. If we select
a date range, the report cancels and we get a CRW32.EXE error.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Sincerely,

Which version of Crystal? Also, are you using Web Component, Compiled reports, or Crystal Designer to view the report?

I have Crystal 7.0 on my computer but one of the other computers has,
I believe, 8.5? The message was the same on both. What I found is
that you can't use "between", however, when I changed my formula to
{ShipHead.ShipDate} > Date (2002, 06, 01) and {ShipHead.ShipDate} <
Date (2002, 06, 30) it worked fine.

Crystal 8.0 and 8.5 have some new features with date ranges in parameters, plus some new commands with dates. It sounds like a version conflict between the two. As you found out, you need to use the command that works for both (ie. 7.0). Also, perhaps 8.5 isn't saving in the 7.0 format accurately.
