Crystal 8.5, V6.1 - Right Outerjoin question

Hi Susan

You need to join them in reverse

Customer -> Orderhead -> Orderline -> OrderRel->
Shipdtl -> Shiphead

Company Company Company Company
Company Company

Custnum Ordernum Ordernum Ordernum
Ordernum Packnum

Orderline Orderline Orderline

Orderel Orderel

Link them using the fields above. You would use outerjoins between
orderrel and shipdtl and shipdtl and shiphead in order to get all orders

Subject: [Vantage] Crystal 8.5, V6.1 - Right Outerjoin question

I am trying to create an On Time Shipment report. My problem is when I
linked the shiphead and shipdtl tables to the quote, customer and order
tables all I get returned are orders with shipments. It doesn't include
orders without shipments. We want to look at what percentage of our
orders are late by the need-by date and what percentage are on time.
We're not getting the entire picture because all we're getting in the
report are orders that have shipments on them.

I have tried to use right outer joins but don't know if I'm going in the
right direction. At one point I got it to work but when I went to save
and exit, it gave me an error and closed without saving the changes.
Prior to that I was getting DLL errors whenever I tried to setup ROJ's.

Is anyone familiar with the problem I'm having? Help.

Sue
